Agriculture Transformation
insecticide is a type of chemical or natural medicine that is used to kill or control harmful insects that attack crops. Insects like aphids, caterpillars, whiteflies, beetles, and grasshoppers eat plant parts (leaves, stems, fruits) or suck their juices. This weakens the plant and reduces the harvest.
Examples of Insecticides:
Chlorpyrifos (used for soil insects and termites)
Imidacloprid (used for sucking insects like aphids and whiteflies)
Cypermethrin (used for chewing insects like caterpillars)
